One of the aircraft’s most popular modifications is to remove the drag laden wingtip fuel pods and replace with a more slippery non-fuel carrying airfoil tip. Our team has decided that the first component to re-design is a new wingtip that both improves drag, but also retains fuel carrying capacity of the original.
In addition we’re also using this opportunity to replace the dated halogen landing lights with a modern array of LEDs to greatly improve landing and position lights for the L39.
